Project Summary
Julia Mandle, in her first indoor multidisciplinary production, created several performance installations with innovative costumes, movement, and sound design within the project space of GAle GAtes' forty thousand square foot industrial warehouse.
PAGEBREAK
Return explores the concept of time and how simple choices resonate through the rest of people's lives. The performance was inspired by the story of a lost World War II Air Force navigator who found himself stranded in the present. As he travels through the distressed landscapes of his mind, the audience follows him from one performance space to the next.
